Q4-1. Will every successful applicant receive a LIMS allowance?

A4-1. The purpose of LIMS allowances is to give financial support to students of the LIMS program so that within the limited time, students can complete their research degrees and the LIMS program in parallel. Therefore, students who fully comply with the aims of this support, who give their best and who are evaluated as excellent, will be granted this support. Please refer to the section “Financial support system” of the LIMS homepage for details on its eligibility.

Q4-2. Do I have to repay LIMS allowances in the future?

A4-2. If students graduate from the LIMS program following the provisions of the program, there is no need for repayment.

Q4-3. What is a research grant?

A4-3. It is an expense paid by the program for research activities related to the research plan made by students and decided through a peer-review process. Students, from the second year of the master’s course, are eligible to apply. Students should consult with their LIMS Professors and Mentors about grant application, acquisition and training of how to manage research funds, etc.
